A lodge-style building, with wooden, exterior corridors providing access to its two upper floors, the Campanile Leeuwarden is conveniently located 500 metres from the motorway, 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Leeuwarden, a historic town set amidst the canals and lakes of northern Netherlands. Simple, light-coloured wood furniture compliments neutral paintwork and warm-coloured plaid fabrics in the 51 guestrooms, all of which have work desks with telephones and Internet connection points, cable television with the possibility of pay movies, private bathrooms with hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities.
An international buffet breakfast is served each morning in the restaurant and drinks and coffees are available throughout the day from the bar. Colourful and contemporary, the hotel's relaxed restaurant offers French, Dutch and typical Frisian dishes at lunch and dinner. The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol, 150 kilometres and approximately a two hour journey away. There is a railway station in the terminal's central hall, under Schiphol Plaza. Direct trains run between there and Leeuwarden. Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities.
