Amsterdam Escape is located in two original Amsterdam canal houses built in 1670 and 1860. Both are located on Nieuwmarkt, one of the main squares in Amsterdam. This central location is surrounded by great bars, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Dam Square, the very center and heart of Amsterdam, is less than a five-minute walk away, and Central Station is a 10-minute walk. All of the apartments (except two) overlook the famous canals.
Amsterdam Escape is all about being different from the rest. All of the apartments have their own name, style and personality. There is a complimentary PlayStation 2 and games, board games, chess draughts and cards, a large selection of DVDs and videos, and novels. For smokers, each apartment has pipes and other smoking accessories. Babysitting, concierge and business services are available. There are laundry facilities on site, safe-deposit box at the front desk, and parking nearby.
The studio apartments have colorful walls giving them a cozy romantic feeling. The two-bedroom apartments have special features, such as a swinging chair, hammock, Wurlitzer juke box and unusual collector's items. The studio units have a kitchenette and the apartments have a full kitchen. Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will be assessed a charge of 25 USD.
Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival will be assessed a charge of 25 USD plus the cost of one night's stay, tax recovery charges, service fees, cleaning fees, and any other inclusive surcharges.
A 25 USD change fee applies once the reservation has been confirmed.
A credit card imprint may be required at time of check-in for telephone and any incidental charges that may be incurred.
No refunds will be made for no-shows or early check-outs.
Front desk hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guests who plan to arrive outside of front desk hours must call 800-627-7019 at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive the number to call for check-in instructions.
Late check-outs are available if no other guests are checking in.
Children under the age of 12 stay free when sharing a room and existing bedding with adult.
