Situated amidst the Sella, Sassolungo and Catinaccio mountains, Hotel Arnika is a chalet-style property located 100 metres from the town centre of Pozza di Fossa and 500 metres from the ski lifts. The 26 guestrooms have simple, colourful decor with wood furnishings and include separate bathrooms, balconies, cable television, direct- dial phones, Internet connections, and safes.
Guests can start the day with a buffet breakfast and then head to the Pozza di Fassa ski area using the free ski bus which stops just 10 metres from the hotel; packed lunches are also available on request. On their return, guests can make use of the ski storage facilities and relax with a drink in the bar, settle down to a movie in the television room, have a game of table tennis or billiards and play in the amusement arcade. In the summer months guests have free use of bicycles and children can enjoy outdoor games in the garden. Multilingual staff at the front desk can advise on local attractions and guests can make use of the free onsite parking. The centre of Pozza di Fassa is easily reached with a 10 minute walk down the river and from here guests have access to a range of winter sports including snowboarding and downhill and cross country skiing. The town also offers a range of bars and restaurants. The closest railway station is in Bolzano, a town renowned for its local wine and surrounded by mountains terraced with vineyards, which is 64 kilometres from the hotel. Verona airport is 200 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 180 minutes.
