The Fosshotel Nesbud is a wood-built, wilderness-and- adventure lodge situated in Nesjavellir, a scenic nature area featuring open craters, bubbling hot springs and dramatic landscape, located 25 kilometres from Reykjavik. The 60 guestrooms have simple modern decor with modern furnishings and include private bathrooms with makeup mirrors and showers.
Guests can sample Icelandic cuisine and relax with a drink in the Fosshotel Nesbud Restaurant and Bar, with its rustic style decor, wooden chairs and large wooden tables. Between April and October the restaurant has an 'All you can eat' buffet of cakes and pastries on Sunday afternoons. The bustling city of Reykjavik is 25 kilometres away, and guests can visit Lake Pingvallavatn, Pingvellir National Park and the stunning Gullfoss Golden Waterfall all within 80 kilometres. Reykjavik Keflavik Airport is approximately 100 kilometres from the hotel, a 90-minute drive.
